What are newsfeeds?

Newsfeeds or RSS (Really Simple Syndication) feeds informs you when websites have added new content. It allows you to get headlines and information as soon as it is published, without having to visit the website you have taken the feed from. Newsfeeds are usually offered by sites that regularly update or add content, such as news sites.

Newsfeeds are in text-based format and a type of XML. They are marked by an orange icon: RSS
