Biography:
Carmen joined Idasa in April 2009 as a Senior Researcher and is a co-Project Manager of the Affiliated Network for Social Accountability (ANSA) in Africa.
Prior to joining Idasa, she was the Deputy Head of Research at the UK Department for Business, Innovation and Skills (BIS) where she managed a portfolio of multi-sponsored large research projects, including the highly regarded Workplace Employment Relations Survey, and was one of the co-authors of the book of findings from this survey. Previously she worked as a Research Fellow at the University of Westminster (UK) for 3 years.
Graduated in Social Psychology at the Autonomous University of Barcelona, Spain, she holds an MSc in Development Management and obtained an MSc in Industrial Relations & Personnel Management at the London School of Economics.
