Biography:
Prof Moussa Samb is currently the Director of the Research and Information Center at the Superior School for Judiciary Training based in Porto Novo, Benin.
Previously, he was Director of studies of the Peace and Human Rights Institute between 1990 and 1994, then director of the Center for Research and Documentation on African Institutions and Legislations at Cheikh Anta Diop University in Dakar, Senegal, from 1997 to 2001. From 2001 to 2005, Prof Samb served as Senior Program Officer on Governance at the International Development Research Center, based in Ottawa, Canada. Within IDRC, he administered, managed and reported on a portfolio of projects related to governance and corruption in sub-Saharan Africa.
Law professor at the University of Dakar, Fulbright scholar at the Georgetown University Law Center, Washington D.C. in 2008, and at the University of Wisconsin Law School of Madison, Wisconsin, in 1995. Prof Samb has taught at the University of Fribourg in Switzerland.
