ANSA-Africa - Invitation for proposals

ANSA-Africa’s operations will revolve around a range of interventions and projects that will be carried out across the Continent. The intention is for the majority of the projects to be done with local partners in the various regions and countries. This will assist in grounding the activities and ensuring that there is buy-in and acceptance of the initiatives, while ownership will also be of critical importance.
The interventions will be based on a combination of projects identified by the Secretariat and projects requested by stakeholders. As a general rule, ANSA-Africa will encourage the partners to also contribute resources to projects that they suggest and to pro-actively approach other funders to also become involved in the projects.
Stakeholders and interested parties are invited to develop project proposals and submit these to the Secretariat in writing by 22 June 2007. Full details of the procedure to follow and application forms are available on the ANSA-Africa website.
