Sustainability, education and the management of change in the Tropics

Session III in the international seminar series “Sustainability, Education and the Management of Change in the Tropics” (www.changetropics.org) took place from May 13-18, 2002, in Jinja, Uganda. A group of 60 international participants attended the session. The program content revolved around the global need for change in agricultural and natural resource management education, the status of tertiary agricultural education in Africa, and the urgency for making new paradigms operational in Africa.
