About ANSA-Africa > Secretariat
Secretariat

A dedicated secretariat has been established within the Idasa’s Economic Governance Programme (EGP) consisting of four staff members. This secretariat will be supported by Idasa’s EGP and other programmes to support work on research and networking functions, while the various support functions e.g. finance, IT, HR etc will be supplied by the applicable units in Idasa. A number of more specialised support functions e.g. the development of the website has been contracted out to professional service providers.

The Project Manager will take charge of the day-to-day management of the project and ensuring that the project objectives and outcomes are met. The Project Administrator will provide the necessary administrative support to facilitate the smooth running of the project. In addition, a Communications Officer will be brought on board to develop the necessary communication and training policies and to then implement these. This Manager will work closely with the EGP team i in communicating with the clients and stakeholders of ANSA-Africa.
